MKII driver is only included in AVR STUDIO installation package. If the driver installation is incomplete in windows vista, 7 or 8, try "Update Driver Software.". After the successful driver installation, "STMicroelectronics Virtual COM Port(COMx)" device shows up in device manager. STM32 VIRTUAL COM PORT DRIVER In Windows XP, select "Yes, this time only" and click "Next" to try the automatic driver installation. The driver is Microsoft singed so in most cases it can be installed automatically through the internet.
